For our existing and previous members of all time that may be interested, our founder of Ju Jitsu Lincs (Sensei Andy Steer), has now decided, to step down from the day-to-day running of the club due to looking at relocating closer to his children/grandchildren.

Andy has been a massive inspiration to myself (and others) over the years throughout my training, not only has he opened my mind within Ju Jitsu and Self Defence but also given me confidence not only in training but as an all-round individual – nothing is impossible.

When Andy asked if I would take over the club, in a way I felt deeply saddened as he has been the one training me through the blood, sweat and tears for many years but I felt it was the best thing to do to keep Andy’s legacy going. This is an honour for me to continue with Ju Jitsu Lincs and I hope that I can inspire others as Andy has inspired me.

For now, Sensei Andy will still be attending classes and sharing his exceptional knowledge to help all members, including myself!

So, it’s not farewell just yet! Just a slight change in the day-to-day running. Our class day/time will remain the same. However, there may be new classes opening soon. We are also looking at putting on some additional seminars.

More will be announced soon, until then. Peace and respect

I certainly second that Andy started me of on my martial arts path and I will always be grateful to him for that. I wish Shane all the best for this new era and hope you take the club to new heights.
